We had such a sports car from the Japanese Mtbashi agency in 1983, good quality drive, four-wheel drive, and a 6-cylinder. I was young. The first time I learned how to drive a car, I had it when I was a 12-year-old child, and I turned up the volume of songs by the King of Rock, Bob Marley.🎞️

Always loved this car. Too bad it's not a manual. Just saw one at a local track racing with classic toyota racing color scheme. Lots of fun.

My first car was a metallic blue version of the 84, loved that car so much! I put 326,000 miles on that car and sold to a friend that already had a 85. I had the 5 speed and when I was pulling out the driveway to take it to him I burned a mean second just for old time sake. Excellent car! 🤙🏼

My first car was a 1984 Supra. Metallic blue 5 speed. Loved that car back in the late 80s.

@@ebenezerservices6363 no . It's called a 5M. Straight 6 dual overhead cams 2.8 Liter made by Toyota. Fuel injection also.

Nice. I love that classic Toyota. In Japanese domestic market that model was celica xx, separately from celica. Import market use name badge Toyota celica supra. Very rare.

Never noticed before but it has some of the lines/proportions of a lotus eclat (early one).

Lotus helped design the suspension on these. also check out the Lotus Excel. they borrowed the Supras wheels and some other little things like the door handles and such.

@@5MGE yes, agreed. Both Excel and Eclat. As usual the Japanese car is a reliable version of an English car mirroring the lotus elan, mazda miata. Yes I know the Mazda and elan are two totally different cars.
