My wife gave me this same chainsaw in 1988 as a birthday present and I was sceptical.but as time went on I found myself using quite constantly pruning trees very handy, light reliable, which I still have today and runs great . Cheers from Australia

Yes I have a homelite Textron super 2 chainsaw UT number 10698. Serial number HL 173-1864. I think it's a 38cc I'm not sure how can you tell? This thing is brand-spanking-new. Very thick sharp chain never seen a chain like that before. Has a nice walbro carburetor on it. Started right up on the first pull. I doubt I can call the 1-800 number on PO box 7047 Charlotte North Carolina 28217. I can't believe it was made in America do not use gasohol. LOL. I love how flat the motor is

what is the actual part number for the saw you have? I went and wiped my info tag with alcohol....oops. Got the model number and serial number at the same time.

UT No is 10654 and serial is 5G3010106, hope this helps
