1986 Toyota Corolla AE86 with 3SGE Beams Engine Machine Check Build Breakdown

Unexpected video as my old neighbor just shows up randomly to my garage. While he was there I figured why not get some footage of his freshly painted and freshly swapped AE86.
Sometimes I wish my car was this nice but I would probably just crash it.
Uploaded with H.264 when i could have used H.265 with this new version on davinci! oh well

The stock intake manifold was so well designed by Yamaha that HP gains from ITBs on a stock engine are underwhelming. Edit: that shifter lock-out is nice, who makes it?

i was thinking of just placing a larger throttle body on my stock intake manifold, not sure if there is gains to be found from that. The shifter lock out is from JSP. jspfab.com/products/jsp-beams-j160-reverse-lockout-shifter

@@kelvinarreola I think maybe the N/A 2J unit might be worth trying. However, you may not see an increase in power. A smaller diameter TB can give you the venturi effect, where air goes from a narrow/ high pressure area to a comparitively low pressure, which increases the velocity of your air.
