1987 4Runner Solid Axle Swap Part 1

I'm finally starting on something I've wanted to do for a long time. It's still a long way away and with school and my current job it'll take a while to complete, but at least I'm making progress. I'm swapping a solid axle from a 1985 4Runner into my 1987. I hope to keep it at about 2-3 inches of lift over stock so I can run 33 inch tires without it looking crazy. The is a daily driver and medium duty trail truck so I don't need to go over the top with everything. I don't know how long this series will be, but follow along and we'll find out together

4.88's, 33" tires, if I can ever afford it dual ARB's but if not, maybe an ARB in the rear and a Spartan up front. I haven't decided yet. Hoping to have 2-3 inches of suspension lift over stock.

A friend of mine was thinking about buying them. Also, it could be a while before I actually get to cutting the IFS stuff out. If you're in any hurry I'd say go out and buy them somewhere else.

OME CS-009R springs in the rear, stock rears up front (RUF).
