Not an 89 because 87 was the last year for half ton & three quarter ton plain cab pickups with that body design.

Still too much money though. The Ford was priced like that because most of it was original, much more rare. This truck doesn't have much left that's original. Both are over priced, but the difference is correct.

I kind of agree on your statement. But, mine was only a curious question. How much was it back in the days? Somewhere around 10k I guess, while a '92 F150 fully packed was only 12k, plus import to Europe, when we wanted to buy one new in '92. While a freakin' standart VW Golf did cost already much more than that at the local VW dealer in Germany. We asked a German Ford dealer for bying it there instead, to avoid the import costs. Well, no way! They asked 42k for it! I know it's irrelevant today, depending on what kind of car and its condition. A good restored one can be better as it was made new from factory, plus they are getting rare to find these days anyway... @@daveklein2826

To me new trucks are light years ahead of these old trucks. You can get a top of the line 4x4 for less. Are these really worth 73K? I guess I'm out of touch with this value.
