1988 - Odessa Permian Football Illustrated

The 1988 Odessa Permian team is historically the most famous team in high school football history. This season included Boobie Miles, Chris Comer, Dallas Carter, and the New York Times best seller novel Friday Night Lights. The season eventually had the book written about the football program published in 1990, and later the movie and TV show "Friday Night Lights."
