I own this exact model and color scheme, I bought it a week ago as I type this. Mine came with street tires on it. It's my first motorcycle, first experience on a motorcycle, and I've been taking it really slow, practicing and developing my skills.

That is super cool. I can't recommend the Basic Rider Course enough. I taught myself how to ride, thinking I didn't need it, but when I did finally take it I realized how many bad habits I had taught myself! Where are you located?

I own a 88 in blue and it has way more power than my 17 honda rally, its a hoot to ride!

Very looking bike. I have one but was taken apart by a mechanic sometime ago. Unfortunately he passed away. So now I am in the process of putting it back by myself. It is difficult to get partsfor this model in my country Malaysia. Had ordered some on ebay. Hope to complete the buildup soon.

日本で販売したAX-1は乗りやすくそれでいて速い良いバイクでしたが、キャストホイールが 割れる欠点がありました。この海外輸出用のAX-1みたいにスポークホイールにして欲しかった。 今のアドベンチャーツーリングが流行る時代でこの形で再販すればけっこう売れると思いますが。 少なくとも私は買います。

@@delwood77 Just curious, was the 250 ok for short hiway trips?

@@j-l8404 As a 230lb meathead it wasn't good on the highway for me. Really fun around town with an SV650 shock to handle my weight. The new owner is a 130lb female that loves taking it all over, including the highway. Race Tech cartridge emulators in the front forks transforms the handling, making it amazing.
