Installing a jet kit and exhaust on a 1988 HONDA NX250 (0-60 and 1/4 mile times!)

In this video I install a jet kit and slip-on exhaust on my Honda NX250. I use a GPS app to test 0-60 and 1/4 mile times before and after the install!

Thanks so much for posting this video! I have the same exact bike. It's been a huge help for me deciding which jet size to run, I'm just wanting to have it run smoother than it is because it's running just a tad soupy so I want to wake it up a bit. And I'm keeping the stock muffler on so I believe I'll go with the 145 jet. Would you agree?

It depends on your elevation. You could just move one jet size at a time. I do recommend 6-sigma. I'm not affiliated with them I've just had good luck with their products. You tell them year, make, model, mods, and your elevation and they send you the kit. They also tell you needle adjustments and what to do with the air screw.

Nice video, how many miles does your have? thinking about buying one of these but some of hte ones listed for sale have 10K plus miles. Just wondering how they run after that.

Hey, i´ve recently bought one NX250 that has 59, almost 60k miles on the clock, and it´s been locked for a wile, so it has more than that 😅... But it runs absolutely perfect, no power loss apparently and no somoke from the exaust, minor oil leaks but all easy fixable, this engine was made to last for a long time, trust me..
