Damn you’re videos and dedication keep getting better and better, these trucks are from my era I’m 57 now and in 1990 a good friend of mine had a Mormon just like that and I had a 1987 Mack cab over 613 and we used to haul garbage fro New York to Virginia and I was always jealous of his bad ass Mormon , keep up the awesome work and I’m sure that you’re channel will grow by leaps and bounds, again thank you for your dedication to the old school trucks!!!!

This is a find for sure, had a 1985 with a 425 Kitty and a 13spd, I miss the old girl, I use to live in Acworth in Cherokee county, outside of Villa Rica on the Eastside by the truck stop, my old 1976 K-100 double bunk flat top Kenworth is sitting, I sold it to my step brother who passed shortly afterwards and his wife had it parked in the woods, I had just totally rebuilt the entire drive train and it had a 530HP 1693 Cat motor and 15spd, that truck was a beast. Wow you don't find these trucks often anymore! They were built in Richardson, TX not really far from where I live and I believe it was 91 when the official last truck left the factory. Navistar took the plant over and ran there for decades building the sever duty trucks and some military trucks. It too closed a hand full of years ago. A guy who drove for us bought a new one around this time and I believe he said he got one of the last ones that was left. Very interesting trucks and too bad there so hard to keep up with parts. I think they look really nice. Marmon's customization process killed them because they couldn't build in mass quantities like the big guys do.

Those trucks are a rare thing now days since the Marmons don't exist anymore. I love the old trucks like this one. Even more so, I love the Cab Overs. Nice truck 👍. Nice find. I would love to hear that truck running.

Possibly junk battery cables, I run good ones to starter bypassing old ones to verify, seems I find a lot of junk negative cables after they are older than 10 yrs old up here in northern states

Just a suggestion I bar them over with a pipe wrench on the accessory drive pulley or whatever is accessible on the driver side I open up the pipe wrench fit the solid end in the inside of the pulley and adjust the loose end over the belt side then tighten it down I think you get my drift

Great video James, uh the 9 and straight 10 speeds have no splitter button, the 15 is in fact the blue splitter for deep reduction and is the only transmission to my knowledge carries the blue splitter button, while the super 10 and the 18 speed carry the gray button.

Wow! What a find. Talk about Rare! And I thought Marla was rare. I hope you're able to buy it. As far as the engine, it sounds like it may have the same issues as truck "X". But James look at it this way, at least both can turn over. Bearings? Drop the oil pan? Hope they both can be saved. I like your fleet. Look at that front bumper though. What is it with you and front bumpers. Enjoy watching your videos. Good luck.
