Had the exact same car back in 2004 new rear arches welded in and a flame red respray done by a bodyshop looked beautiful but within 6 months it was bubbling again all over just rot boxes these cars

Just to remove any small pieces of dust etc, then another layer of basecoat was applied, then 6 coats of clear.

You drove past me whilst i was out walking our dogs last week with the wife, sounds daft but deffo 100% you - all I'll say is foundry. Needless to say the wife was sick of listening to me by the time we got home. Especially as I once owned a H plate blue Nova GTE. Would love to see this close up, and also to see what a real car from a real era can do against my computerised piece of modern bullshit (golf8r).

Ah, you must be very close by, I was once a passenger in a Corsa B with a C20LET, which didn't feel as fast as the nova, a golf R tried to race us and there was no comparison at all, it couldn't keep up, i guess they just don't make cars like they used to

@Chintz Motorsport Yes mate, I recognised the locality from Adam's latest vid on your car. I'm only 10 mins walk from you. I've always been surprised by how fast Novas are with a decent engine. I remember many years ago that a Cadbury purple k plate that is sitting rotting locally, gave me a big surprise in my old mk2 octavia vrs tfsi. If you pass me give me a wave, 71 plate white mk8r 😉
