I got one just like it, 212,000 miles on my 7.5 liter. Love it

Wonder if these are bigger than the Excursion. Both look great.

Why the increase from 33k to 45k??

It allows me to have more wiggle room. I historically sell one of my cars or trucks just before they pop.

Those were cool back in the day, and collectable now. But condition is an issue at this price point. Interior looks a bit worked and red is kind of a love it or leave color. Also don't care for the black spray-paint touchups on the undercarriage. If it were diesel you might really have something. Loved the old NA IH diesels. I owned an '89 which I cherished. But best of luck regardless.

8-10 ish? Maybe 11 on the highway, downhill, with a tornado behind you...

haha bullshtting us saying fuel economy is 10 to 12 mpg. i had one 20 years ago. you would be lucky to get 5 or 6 mpg. that thing would drink the whole week's paycheck going to and from job sites. i was sort of happy the transmission blew the fck up.

I've been setting the trip odometer and refueling every 100 miles and it's only local driving and averaging 10mpg. Sorry for your loss.

@@FixdecayI’ve owned 19 OBS fords, 6 have had the 460. 10 is attainable but 8 is more believable than 12. That engines got 8 very hungry mouths to feed and the E4OD behind it is a marvel of inefficiency. However…Maybe, just maybe with a light foot, 3.55 gears, cruising at 55, 60 psi in the tires and a tailwind everywhere you go you could get 9.5 😂 But it looks like you’re at or near sea level, so that’ll help a bit. Out here in the Rockies we all know that 460s get 7. Still a nice truck though, but we all know she’s got an incurable love for the fuel.

@@1966oldsguy Spot on. I do have a light foot and in no rush so I try to keep it under 60mph.

@cornelionsqween8028 got same model 11.1 mpg all day long, don't know why yours sucked, 212,000 miles and still going strong

@@noelclarke4574gearing, transmission, tires, 2 vs 4 wheel drive and driving habits. A CCLB F350 with the e4OD a lift and huge ass tires can’t get out of the single digits. A stock 2 wheel drive SCLB F250 with the ZF5 and 3.55s could easily turn 15 if cruising on the highway.
