I believe this is Round 11 (Camel Continental) and not Round 17. Although they took place at the same track, Round 17 was GT only.

Poor Perry McCarthy. He said that Dick Dastardly had more luck than he did. He was "The Stig" in BBCs Top Gear. Probably the apogee of his career despite being consitently quick.

Thanks I was looking for highlights from the 1982 Kodak 200...no luck....both beautiful JAGUAR s went out with electrical issue boy the look nice anyway we got pit and infield access photo...it was great quite a site to inside the track with red bibs on....hello....red dah....

Even though my brother, all this brother, I was 16 and 1975, he was 29, he took me to the camel GT at Mid Ohio. I was like okay I guess that's interesting. Fast forward to 1988. My brother's in Chicago and Michigan invite my wife and I in 1988 to Road America to see these things called GTPs. We parked on the outside of the front straight away at road America in the grass. All of a sudden I see what looks like a slot car go kaboom! What was that? They said, that's what you're going to see this weekend. And it's been downhill ever since.
