Is my 91 NSX transformed on track by the new drivetrain mods? Plus, I let a pro driver take the car for a spin at Sonoma.

Oh I love this car so much! The recent mods are perfect. Less castor and lighter wheels sounds like a great idea, but again I wonder how is the non-assisted NSX Type-R setup? That should be more than good enough if it can be emulated. I feel slightly aggrieved on behalf of the car you by being so defensive of it's lap times lol! This is a grand old lady, and not comparable to modern performance car's track capability. But the engine omg....sounds even better than the Porsche flat sixes imho. Transmission (with current niggles sorted out) is best in the world. You can see from this short clip the handling balance is just sublime, even on crummy old tyres apparently. Those downshifts bouncing off the walls....holy moly!!!! Eargasm! This is a car (like a handful of others) that will never be bettered with it's own specific set of traits. With modern technology and regulations etc, it's impossible. What a wonderful thing.

That guy's driving is really smooth. With an SOS supercharger and some aero upgrades, it should do high 1:30s - low 1:40. Great car. Hope you develop it more!

I'm not interested in forced induction. I love NA response/sound in a car like the NSX. Definitely room to improve other aspects of the car first.

Most track days require windows to be down for safety reasons. It doesn’t cause a significant amount of drag.

This car is more like a muscle car by todays standards. Requires you to be a brute to make shit happen. I drove my buddy around who's a Golf R owner and he said my NSX felt like a muscle car. Lol
