I'm about to do this same work on my 1992 F 250, floor pan and floor supports. Thank you for this series I'm learning a lot I feel like I can do this myself and get the old 7.3 idi back on the road again.

edm Do it! The repair panels are easily available and reasonable priced. Hardest part about fitting them up is being patient and taking your time. Sometimes they fit decent and other times you need to modify them. Good luck !

I have seen rollbacks redone and they used body filler on the sides of the bed and those get tons of abuse.

Jon A Absolutely! The existing paint is pretty dead. Not taking chances if I can help it
