The aftermarket Short shift Kit will fix the dollar store Chinese Knockoff OEM manual shift linkage, but in those days who is making said short shift Kit for these things ? Possibly nobody unlike today you can get them for the tremendous 5 door hatch am radio delete Hyundai pony.

I bought a new 91 eclipse gsx. Shifter was horrible, but everything else from style to performance was great. I believe a TSB was eventually put out for the shifter issue. I only kept the car for about 18 months before trading due to the crappy shifter

I take issue with him saying that people are making mistake by buying the Mitsubishi and not the Plymouth version. When it comes to resale value anything associated with Chrysler was bound to suffer. Become a pretty shocking that the Plymouth required you to pay any amount of money for a three year warranty. He always takes issue with pop-up headlights and yet these days anything cars with pop-up headlights are considered very cool. As an owner of a supra, celica, MR2, etc I know! Prior to the newer flush headlamps they were done so that the front end could be more aerodynamic and sporty looking.

But the top outer tip of the door is dangerous - reaches and and sticks you when trying to open or close the door - usually direclty in your side when you have your arm in the raised position. Pontiac firebird of that era was similar excect it was just the smoothed edge of the window glass that hit you instead of metal window trim (and with the window rolled down it's no problem.

The auto slush box on these do sap over 30 horse from the engine compared to the 3 pedal version which the one amateur at the end said the automatic doesn't rob the engine from its power. for that point go to the Dortorday Retro review of these things and on that channel they point out the automatic is less horse.WRONG

3 year Hidden Socalled no cost option extended 60K only kilometers is superbly ridiculous because engine failures happen after said milage and yes I'm Irish Canadian & always prefer the milage measurement. Makes more sense. Period but a superb obnoxious rarely used if ever Power train warranty. True mechanical warranties start at a minimum 100,000 miles,then let the manufacturer pay for repairs after a highly anal maintenance regime by me a owner .
