I was looking forward to working for this company back in '92. I was wrapping up my first tour in the Marines. I liked and respected the cars, unfortunately I never owned one until just a few years ago I bought one the last ones made by GM. I really enjoy the drive. Today I own 4 Saturns and they all run and look like new. Saturn was a company that America needed to stick around. At any rate I will be driving mine "till the wheels fall off." They all have less than 80k miles and run super quiet. Definitely a great buy for me back in 2020.

This first gen is so much better looking than my 3rd gen. Love the fender lip action.

The first Saturn were great cars unfortunately GM botched this division up with their other newer models.

Lol I wish girls felt the same way about my 20 year old 2002 single cam sedan with a 5 speed, crank windows and maunal locks. On thing I'm thankful for is the way the paint presents better than other cars of the same vintage because it bonded better to plastic.

These were so unsatisfying, disjointed cars in daily life. Good steering, transmissions, hvac, twin cam power and assembly were high points. But overall the cars felt loose and lumpy, with typically GM atrocious seats and crude details. A Protege or Neon was much better. I might choose a Saturn over a J car or a Corolla.
