Different intro, even the rough draft was very good! Ended up listening to the whole thing, despite bad audio.

I like this version better than the studio version! It has more of that Images and Words/Awake feel to it, which of course is no surprise due to the fact that it was written by the famous Petrucci/ Myung/ Portnoy/ Moore/ Labrie line up they had at the time (my personal favorite!) It would've been nice to have a copy of Images and Words with this version on the track list!

Same here, I absolutely love this version. It's certainly more Moore-esque, keyboard-wise and LaBrie's singing is pretty much the best he's ever done - the live recording that they released on one of their official "bootlegs" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipaTgmawrpemp80 ) is superior to this performance (I actually was at this concert in Bonn in 93, and it was insane - loved it that they played this song while still unreleased, plus the entire concert was just totally mind-blowing (almost as good as WatchTower in 1990 ;-) ). When they finally did release the EP I was disappointed by how choppy several transitions sound and the entire flow of the original version was cut up.
