Watching highlights reminds me of several things: -Look at how low the score is at some points! The three point shot wasn’t as emphasized then as it is now. -90’s pro basketball was some of the most physical play. Guys are getting hammered left and right and in some instances the refs let them have it. -More emphasis on ball movement. Far less reliance on isolation. -Coaches wore suits on the sidelines. I miss those days. And of course, rivalries meant something. You can see the hate both teams had for each other and how bad each team wanted to win.

It's about matchups, Pippen was a ball handler which was a bad matchup for C. Smith Horry on the other hand was a good perimeter defender. The SF matchup in the Knicks-Rockets series didn't make much of a difference because neither C. Smith or Horry handled the ball much.

Truth is, is kukoc doesn't bail the bulls out in game 3 (while pippin whined on the bench) the knicks would've won in 5 games. And the only reason why game 5 was as close as it was if u remember Derek harper got suspended for a stupid fight with jojo white.
