So he took the time to LT swap a pickup and not LS, put long tubes, but then almost defeated the purpose by adding “high flow” cats, then put cutouts on but added mufflers to the cutouts? No offense to that guy, but there is a lot done wrong with this setup and a lot of wasted time and money

I mean your build and his build is different so. Me personally I like the sound of the lt1 then the ls1 and it is more cheaper. Now the ls1 is way more better but long as you have the money. And he didn't do it "wrong" just not your taste. Probably wants to be different. And I definitely haven't seen no one did that

I wonder if he kept that cast iron block from the original tbi & added the lt1 cam/ intake manifold / ecu etc. I think the tbi , l31 vortec 350, & lt1 was push rod ohc . Lt5 had the dohc design 👍

@@kevinalonso3395 the LT1 was basically a factory modified 350 small block Chevy. Better cam, heads, intake manifold, internals were stronger, ignition system was different. It was the last generation of the high performance SBC before they finished the LS1.

Putting mufflers after the cut off dumps was dumb. Almost an oxymoron. It's essentially giving the vehicle two exhaust systems. You get cut off dumps so you can run NO EXHAUST for racing. I really hope the owners explained this to the customer - or were they more worried about getting $$.. cheesus.. that's just as ridiculous as that 10" John Deere tractor exhaust tip.
