Wish my old SD card was still around.. Have done a few of these, also a couple Whipple charged R/Ts.. We crammed a 8.3 V10 in a 98(that took some cut and fit).. The >96s you can jam a 6bt in with some work.

End of story, coolest Dakota in the road. Just needs a small lift and some either trail grapplers or KO3’s. Absolutely so cool. If California wasn’t against fun like this, I’d try this.

I have the same truck as you but mine is wrecked cause my sister crashed it and it has a 318 and it is gray with street tires but I plan. To get some offroad tires. We even have the same radio!

Looks to be the stock torsion bar suspension. How much heavier is that diesel compared to a 5.2 / 5.9?

What is the advantage to swap in a diésel engine? Mpg? I think you can loose power vs a v8 mágnum

Mpg and just the uniqueness of having the diesel.

if you know what your doing this thing could make 10x more power than a stock v8. iv seen these little four cylinders taken up to 700 hp without the head ever even being takin off these motors are extremely strong
