This Bills Defense gives up over 500 yds. but still the Bills win thanks to Marino's 4 turnovers--3 INT's and 1 fumble. Dan padded his stats real nice however in the 4th quarter.

@@iamtman1 + I could say I'm stupid, but I am not. Marino is overrated! He had the few early years where he was able to pass all day. But by the end of the 80s he was just a little better than average. Not that he didn't have great single games, but I am saying over 16 games and the playoffs.

Marino was the best passer who ever lived. He played on teams that couldn't run the ball, or defend at all. He always had to carry them. No QB in history would have won a S Bowl with Marino's teams including the team he took to the S Bowl in 84 which was ranked 24th defensively. A little better than avg by the end of the 80's you said, lol. Relative to the times he played in, as even Bill Walsh who coached J Montana said, "Dan Marino is the best passer ever". Rod Woodson who played vs Marino called him the goat too. See unlike you, they know teams win playoff games, not 1 guy.

@@iamtman1 + Stop it bro! Elway was way better than him. They had no running game, but still managed to make it to 3 Superbowls. He lost the first 3 because of a weak D, and lack of a true work horse. I am not going to argue the Montana question, obviously Joe is better. My favorite Qb was Warren Moon, so I know heartbreak! But its cool you stand by your guy. Don't try and give me the " you don't know football ", because I do. Those 3 Denver teams were not really better than the 84 Dolphins, but Elway had that magic that Marino never had. He could pass for sure, but he definitely wasn't a winner.

Marino was much better than Elway. Elway’s teams were better than marino’s. Check Miami’s rec with Marino playing from 1983-99 and check their rec when he was out injured same time. Way below 500 wighout him. Terrell Davis the mvp and best player in football won those 2 Super Bowls far more thsn Elway did. I’ll take Marino.
