Man I really enjoy your videos. My son has a 97 TJ for 3 years now and loves it. With that and watching your videos, I now have to itch to consider getting an older Jeep Wrangler for myself.

off road scratches on a jeep adds character. besides if you buy a jeep and are afraid to get some scratches on it off roading then maybe you shouldn't go off roading in the first place or buy a jeep for that matter, because everyone knows when you go off roading getting scratches on your vehicle is inevitable.

great vid Roman...were you running 32 psi in those tires? i know its a pain but you should be around 22 or 24 front and 20 22psi rear to get all the grip you can from your tires...otherwise its kinda bouncy

@thinde889 жыл бұрын
I think these off road videos in a cheap jeep are great! I'm recently getting into the same stuff with my TJ and you guys NEED to get some front sway bar quick disconnects. What would be interesting is to see the jeep run trails as is, and then do a comparison with the sway bar disconnected and tires aired down. I put a few videos of me doing some local trails in Colorado around Idaho Springs on my channel.

I'm subscribed but I won't hit like button until you put some lockers on that YJ. Surely ARB or another company would give you those for free to show the common people how good they work. The tires are ok it's only 2 wheels spinning that's the problem!

When are you guys gonna do a mashup between the jeep and the bronco?
@epicclips4569 жыл бұрын
For god sake put some fucking offroad tires in that thing. Your basically driving a stock Jeep Wrangler like that.
@RKmndo2 жыл бұрын
A stock base model 2.5L/5spd YJ can climb that. Just disconnect the anti-swaybar and trackbars, then air down the 215/75R15s a bit. I offroaded a stock-suspension YJ for several years. With the bars disconnected, the stock springs and shocks allowed enough flex that the stock front brakehoses were too short. You can relocate the front hardlines to underneath the framerails by using the bumpstop bolts, yielding another 4-6" of brakehose droop. Angle-iron rocker protection, a lunchbox locker or two, a winch, and some 30" siped mudders made for a pretty capable rig that wasn't crazy expensive. 31s could fit with used TJ Rubicon flares or a 1" poly bodylift. Narrow 33s could fit with both, but then you'd almost never use 5th gear unless you re-gear the diffs, and the D35 rear axle was marginal with 33s or bigger and a locker.

How is Subaru going to get mad at a scratch? Like really... Just mad cause their going down the drain.
@WDunkin9 жыл бұрын
How about airing down and you wouldn't of had any issues. And you need to make this a staple of every off road review. Take some chainsaws and clippers and maintain that trial to use it.
@TFLcar9 жыл бұрын
Great suggestions. FII: Yes we wanted to air down but the air compressor was with the JK on MMUSA so we had no way to sit up agin.
@Stuka879 жыл бұрын
The Fast Lane Car You don't have to air way down. I assume you run those tires at around 30-35psi. Going down to 25 still makes quite a difference, and is still streetable.
