Are you still racing this? What heads are you running? How about boost level?
@pattybart10235 жыл бұрын
No, I tore it apart 5 years ago. Bought a house and have been fixing it. I should be putting it back together 2020. The heads are AFR 210CC. The boost was about 15psi after a liquid to air intercooler chilled with ice water. Air temperatures were 64 degrees at launch and 98 at finish with 80 degrees ambient air temp.

HAHAHAHA! No. Lol im pretty sure he was NOT running a powerdyne or "tourque storm" 🙄 id guess either a procharger or Vortech. Those other ones are just to look pretty.
@CrimeScene964 жыл бұрын
@@poncoolride well he never specified what kind of supercharger either. No need to try to make me feel stupid. It was simply a question. I have a powerdyne on my Impala and even though its on the lower income of superchargers, its very effective.

Its a Procharger P600B. The smallest one they made. Still makes plenty of power even though I've been told it belongs on a lawn mower.

are you converting it to work from a Gen 1 SBC?

how the hell did you get a stock 10 bolt to hold that much power? I would love to know so I dont have to blow 2 grand on a rear end swap.
@JohnnyCTSV10 жыл бұрын
no kidding... most stock 10 bolts would pop under much less power/tq with sticky tires. Id say this one wont have much life left either

its because its an auto, its doesnt shock the rear as hard as the 6spd manual

@@MMK86 the shear amount of tourqe in that car should be more than enough the grenade everything inside that rearend. It this point whether it being a manual or an auto doesn't matter.

Good Luck. Your way ahead of my 95 camaro. I'm running 12 flat. I got a 355 with a stage 3 auto with a moser 12 bolt with 4.10s. I'm so close to the 11's. I even bought a carbon fiber hood and driveshaft to help me get into the 11.9 at 112 mph. If I can't i'm gonna rebuild for a 396 with bigger heads.
