I grew up in western Sydney. I remember going out to RAAF Richmond and watching all he old hercs taking off. There was a park adjacent to the base with all these cannons, a war memorial then they built a play ground there. The play ground had a mock c130 with 'RAAF' painted on the side. Good times.

I remember these big bastards buzzing the roof of my house in Altona Meadows on a daily basis when they used to be based out of RAAF Williams. At first when I was a toddler I was scared of these, but I quickly learned to love seeing them. Great memories!
