My boyfriend is a former Eagle Scout who ate MRE's and had a mess kit and the whole nine yards when camping. He's surprised to hear I get pleasure out of the videos, but he's also overjoyed when I say "this thing reminds me of a [mre component]." I nearly had a heart attack when i saw you bite into those maggi cubes. It's condensed broth, we still use it in France to cook pasta, or vegetables, or in soups. The brand still do exactly the same ones (at least, the packaging). It's not made to be eaten in cubes, its only purpose is to make a nice broth to drink.

Hey Christina, I've had old pemmican about a year & a half ago. It was pretty bad though - from the 70's. I have some from 1960 that I actually have high hopes for considering the condition of the outer can. But we'll see.
