@markstepanekii388 Жыл бұрын
@mas5867 never mind 12 of Osbornes 49 losses were to eventually national champions, 5 of his bowl losses were to national champions. His only 2 losses in 91 were to miami and Washington, who split the title. 2 of his 3 losses in 90 were to Colorado and GT, who split the title. He went 60-3 in his last 5 seasons, accumulating as many national titles as losses in 5 seasons. Have a good day, loser.

@mark stepanek ii LOL and then there is reality Ask a 4th grade girl which is most eye opening. 49 losses * 11 to NCs * 12 to unRANKED teams when Neb was RANKED in the top 10 * 6 were in bowl games whoops, in 3 he was embarrassed * 3-23, 21-45, 0-22 * 7 other bowl losses, 3 of which were to Bo, and 2 unknown nobodies, ASU, Houston a great coach win more than 50% of whatever stat and upsets better teams more than he did. Osborne was mostly a good coach, seldom very good, NEVER great.
@markstepanekii388 Жыл бұрын
@MAS ASU? The nobody who was coached by Frank Kush, went undefeated and finished ranked #2 after the bowls? They even received first place votes. Houston? The same nobody who went 11-1, won the SWC, and finished ranked #5 after the bowls? You're a crayon eater
@mas5867 Жыл бұрын
@mark stepanek ii You all like pain, I mean really Let's recap what we are supposed to be discussing. Greatness. Right? 1) ASU. Gimme a Fing Breat. Beat 1 ranked team all season (#12) AZ * NM by 6, * Wyoming by 1 And Osborn lost to them. Does that sound like greatness? Don't laugh at what follows. 2) Houston Houston beat 1 ranked team by 3 4 unranked teams by 4, 3, 3, 4 and then Neb by 3. A very good coach beats this Houston hands down

LOL. Beamer knew how to lose bowl games Still owns 3rd most bowl losses. More evidence of how silly Osborne's 60-3 -Run- Skip Along was. He won 4 of the 5 bowl games during that stretch over coaches that retired with combined bowl record of 36-38. They pretty well sucked in bowls. The bowl he lost was to Bowden, who owned a 4-0 bowl record against Osborne.

@mas5867 Жыл бұрын
@@markstepanekii388 I think I know your response, but you have something new to offer. Why was it the biggest screw job?
@mas5867 Жыл бұрын
@@markstepanekii388 Not sure if you will respond. The screw job was NBC's Bob Trumpy's error. Find the full video, not one of the ones all conveniently cut up. The one where you see Trumpy draw on the screen about the block in the back and I don't think he drew immediately after the play. Trumpy has entire nation focused on the wrong guy. In the full video you will see another FSU player getting knocked back by a yd. You have to slow it way down and play several times. Look at where teh FSU players started and where he ended. We have to slow it down, but the REF is right there in the screen. He saw it live. Was a great legit call on the right player not the one Trumpy had us look at. The TD was a touchdown. Dick Enberg: Bob Trumpy never say BAD NO CALL, never. they said at least 3 times. "I don't know." vs Dan Fouts immediately calling the penalty against Miami (2002 vs OSU) a "BAD CALL." Updat: My troll Sorney will follow this comment with his usual unsupported BS. Notice he makes a comment about other refs looking at the call against Neb and determining that there was no foul. Who are these other refs? Where can we find them. Misspelling is noted. It drives the little man batty.
@sorney987 ай бұрын
@mas5867 only problem there was no block in the back, even refs have looked at to which I pointed out you suggested, hate to tell you not a foul. Also it was a fumble, sorry but losing the ball before crossing goal line is fumble. Maybe there's a reason you're in a basement on KZbin instead on TV for football, because you don't know it lmao. UPDATE: otice how the Nebraska troll Rob Johnson continues his bs. Claims to be a foul yet multiple refs have seen the replay and no one sees a foul, along with why FSU's td wasn't ruled a fumble. Controversial means that calls are in question which says other refs. Think common sense went out the door. Also Rob learn how to spell
