Spot on! That was well laid out and well done. The cameraman knew just what to do as well, and showed clear views of all the important parts. This J-hook design is used on MANY other cars, so your instructions apply to a multitude of different cars. My Toyotas use the same system.

Thanks! This video really came out great and right to the point. The VHS cam I gave you, my dad used to use it all the time during our family trips when I was a kid, he certainly hasn't lost any of his past experiences! I like this design a lot, it's very simple to replace wipers with it. I think the only different one is the rear wiper on the Edge.

@@Sharkie626 I figured he was the cameraman! Yep, very common design. The Edge doesn't surprise me, one time I had to fix the wipers on Matt's Mustang and it was, er, different and also scary how it worked. Barely.

Great video and instruction. Kudos to the cameraman/woman - they zoomed into the important parts. Top marks regarding using a thick cloth just in case! (totally recommend that!). Thank you.

Is 22 and 18 the correct measurements? Or is “24 and “19”?
@Larry-cs2lc3 жыл бұрын
Your video made this job easy for me. Thank You. I bought Rain-X wiper blade replacements on Amazon. Rain-X has a tool to select the correct replacement size for your vehicle. Mine were 24 and 19 inches. Different from the video, but they seem to be correct. Maybe they measure in a slightly different way than the blades you used. These blades were "Universal", so I did have to remove two of the parts on the blade...as per Rain-X instructions...so it would fit. Easy to remove...no tools necessary....plastic...they just pop right off. Whole installation took less than 30 minutes. Thanks again!

My 2004 Silverado has that type of wiper arm as well. Good tip with the towel to help protect the windshield!

Oh definitely. I've heard stories of windshields cracking because someone accidentally let the arm slam back down.

Is your car a 1999-2002 Honda Accord? (clue....it's a rhetorical question).
