well, good. I had a washer confusion issue, too. and pay attention to the sprocket side, there is an O ring a collar and then the sprocket

i have a 1996 and my manual is junk compared to yours. where did u get that manual? it would be a massive help to see pictures of the 1996 transmission gear order if it shows that. thanks for the video!

I bought the manual off of ebay. and I had to replace my trans and I got it from ebay too.

So, something unknown prevents the trans from shifting if it's installed in the left engine case? Odd. But useful.

Correct. And I don't know what causes the not-shift problem. It shifted just fine when moved to the right side engine case

I just installed mine in the left engine case first (flywheel side) and it shifts perfectly fine after being sealed up. Edit: Yes I realized this video is old 😂
