No, it's that loyalty is no longer a one way deal. Owners literally had absolute control over players for decades. And they eventually had enough. You call them greedy, then say they're disloyal for taking less money to go somewhere that they can win and be happier. That's the hypocrisy of the American fan. Especially when it pertains to the black athlete.

Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot and look what ended up happening. They started teaming up as friends and have completely ruined the competitive spirit of this sport. It’s unbearable to watch. There’s no more drafting and building your team and maybe getting a role player via free agency. Now you can get multiple super stars via free agency

@@manuginobilisbaldspot424 you're very confused. VERY. Pippen couldve asked to be traded in 1996 to 1998 but stayed b/c he felt what he had with MJ was special. Reggie Miller couldve left Pacers on 3 separate occasions and didn't. In fact Pacers didn't want him to retire when he did despite deterioration in his game from age. When Miller's memorabilia was stolen in late 90s the Pacers org replenished all of them for FREE. See how Mark Cuban is handling Dirk Nowitzki's twighlight of career with respect and loyalty today? That's loyalty and rare these day and that used to be common place in the golden era. You are confused .

NBC had a lot of years where they had some really wonderful choices for music in their closing montage. I get that they want us to think that Michael is some kind of god from the heavens, and perhaps to a lesser extent Malone, but they could have done a little better than this. I would have loved it if they did another year of I Believe I Can Fly.

Leblame could never have done what MJ did in 98' - playing with a dislocated finger all season, no Scottie for over half the season, a depleted front court, at age 35, vs a better Utah team (that swept Kobe's talented Lakers team)... To still find a way to win it all. Incomparable and GOAT hands down. Leblame wouldve failed and blamed it on not having Pippen, and everything else as well.
