This is an Hybrid car. You can see HY on the side that means Hybrid. So, as you can hear, Hybrid or not, the sound is mad as equal

@@lucaruffoni17-rufix The video title and description both say that it isnt a hybrid, and Toyota is likely doing this to test for the 2027 WRC, which limits the cost of the cars. A hybrid system is very expensive, so theyre likely doing away with that to focus the costs on other things. As for the car saying HY, who knows if that means hybrid, and if it does, its likely just from an old car that did have a hybrid system. They would be more worried about the performance than the looks during testing.

Who did the video are not saying what he has write. As I wrote above, HY sticker on the car door means that is an HYbrid car, and it has been for marshall as me to keep attention during accident and car recovery operations.

@@fuzzy1dk even in a straight line, the group B had the problem of unloading the power to the ground, then they used smooth tires, which requires cleaning the asphalt to have an effect. no aerodynamics, so vortices were created under the car, not having a homogeneous bottom, which slowed the car down.

@@tbtstt The main reason why hybrid is gone is because hybrid system manufacturer (Compact Dynamics) made changes to servicing, bearing Rally1 teams with higher costs of hybrid repairs on their shoulders. All 3 Rally1 manufacturers were unhappy with such sudden changes and ultimately and unanimously agreed to ditch hybrids all together.

I loved the idea of hybrid race cars but the tech was too expensive for other OEMs to enter despite it being a spec part. I also blame fia for allowing R1 cars to be space frames. R1 should be R2+ road based chassis with more horsepower and aero freeness.

Perchè devi parlare per niente?!?! Questa E' una macchina ibrida. In primis sulla portiera sul numero di gara ha HY che sta per HYBRID. E lo riconosci anche dalle prese d'aria laterali sotto lo specchietto per il raffreddamento della batteria. E ancora più per la cronaca anche al Hyundai dell'altro video era Ibrida. Tanto che nella SP Roggia di Sabato pomeriggio ha iniziato in ritardo pe run problema alla batteria dell'ibrido.

Only in looks. These cars are way more spectacular, they are behaviorally more aggressive and need to be driven more aggressively.
