Fantastic video Hayden. How much does one save installing the Unichip themself? I figure you still have to buy the chip and then come back for a dyno. Is that right?

Thank you! It’s definitely not the case. We have tuned hundreds of these setups before, and when someone purchases a complete package from us including injectors, turbo, etc then we can provide accurate pre tuned modules that are ready to fit. Saving around $650 on the cost

I need some one in US to do this. I bought a set of FT rebuild injectors and UFI 21L for my FT in 🇺🇸. Now I got another 100 FTE. Are these injectors and turbo FT specific or do they suit FTE.

Hi mate FT injectors and FTE injectors are built differently so they wouldn’t work when swapped over

Great detailed and easy to follow explanation. However, its not acceptable that Unichip do not have factory piggy-back plugs that connect their product to the factory ECU so there is no amateur wire stripping, connection mistakes and possible shorts. This unit should be able to be removable completely without chopping up the original wiring, same as any brands head unit wiring looms. Very unprofessional for such an accepted brand.

Hey mate, they used to make them, but I think it was just uneconomical. This is no problem when done with care and patience 🤙

@@hd_hayden Thanks for the reply mate, but I'd pay $100 extra or more to just plug something in and not destroy the original wiring, or risk getting it wrong, or have a short (or crap/dry solder joint) make your vehicle die in the middle of nowhere. This is the reason I won't be buying one, I have an absolutely mint '04 20,000km 1HD-FTE RV ute and NO WAY am I chopping wires or bodgying anything. Yes I know I'm fussy but this vehicle is unreplaceable and so is the wiring harness.
