Which way does coolant flow from that fitting? Is it going in or out of the head? If its out, could you run cool coolant IN that port instead?

On mine i did what you did, plus the port on the front by the fuel pressure regulator and vvti hardline... 2 an10 fittings, and i made a Y that connects them to the hardline on the back of the water pump. The idea is to get more cool coolant to the head... but the forums and diagram from toyota say that coolant flows OUT of the head from those ports. Where does coolant flow out of the head, if those are inlets?

my push fitting popped out yesterday thank god it happened once I got home, gotta do this now 🫠
