With what took seconds of planning turned into weeks of building, and months of taking stuff out again, and years for a date of completion, good jokes and banter are what fuelled Woody and Al, years later the job was complete but they were frail and old... lemon squash anybody?

Beautiful explanation of how Brake Boosters work! Thanks! I remember the Remote Boosters from restoring an Old Dodge DeSoto. Absolutely impractical. Hydraboost, in this application, would be just as impractical. We used to use them on big Cam Carbureted Engines that didn't have enough vacuum to operate a Vacuum Booster. You made the best choice - but you don't need me to tell you that!! 😜

Love your work, no excuses required, conditional of corse ;). Twin leading shoe brakes, hot set on old school drum brake motor cross bikes. Rotation of brake drum 'dragged' brake shoe into itself, increasing break pressure. Hours spent seating, servicing and tweaking, while dreaming of disc breaks. Ah the good old days, c ough.
