I’m from New Orleans & grew up eating (& making) beignets. They’re square donuts w tons of powdered sugar on them. The most famous place for serving them in N.O. is the Café du Monde in the French Quarter. The coffee they serve there is delicious…it’s a coffee and chicory blend & is dark, smooth & amazing. You can probably find that coffee in your local grocery store…in a yellow can. If you ever go to New Orleans, you have to go get some beignets & chicory coffee!😋👍 But, beware - do NOT inhale while you’re biting them! You’ll choke on the powdered sugar…trust me! lol

Oh, I'm so jealous of the beautiful Pink Me Up bottle! I thought I would love that scent and ordered a decant to try, and later had been sent another sample, but what's nuts is that when I wear it, my skin pulls out the patch and the musk so heavily that I cannot enjoy it! It's amazing how true it is when they say skin is the final ingredient. If I want to enjoy a similar champagne fruity scent, I have to turn to Dom Rosa or the new intense version, but God knows those bottles aren't as glorious as the Atelier des Ors! 😢

Happy 2024, Jackie! Such a great haul. I got myself Angelique Noir for Christmas’s as well but “had to” design my own bottle. And based on what you say and we all know about allowing perfume to get stronger, I suppose it’s a good idea to get SDV now so that it can get ready for fall. One of my other recent purchases was Dolce Vita from Dior - a scent that brings beautiful memories and I guess that one needs time as well. The 90’s formulation was better but what can you do? At least it’s a 100ml bottle so I can spray all I want 😅

The BEST AS - like fragrance so far is SAVA by GISSAH- this is a Kuwait brand that Demi Rowling starts the hype about. It's the same as AS but no boozy note. Lasts all day. Not sure it's in USA yet
