Bought a ‘23. NOS, knew I’d never get a new one at a better price in the color scheme I liked. No regrets what-so-ever. It’s a great bike. Luv it.

I have a 2018 speedmaster. First thing i changed was the pegs to mid controls. Just had T120 handlebars fitted & it now handles so much better. Also have a Dart screen fitted. Its a wonderful machine. Thanks for the video 😊😊

@@birchwoodbiker I'm a shortie 5ft 2 & found the forward pegs a bit of a reach. The mid ones are perfect now gorgeous me. I've had the motorcycle 2 years now. Took me a while to get use to it as I've been riding BMW 1200gs for about 10 years. I forgot to mention I bought a Corbin seat for the speedmaster, much more comfortable now. Its a great bike to ride & sounds amazing. It came fitted with a Vance & Hinse exhaust 😁😁

Hi there. speedmaster will be my next byke. I've already ordered it, but it takes a couple of months to get one here in Brazil. I have a Tiger 900 Rally and I hope to be able to keep them both.

what a beast, sounds gorgeous. Sitting like that would kill my spine, driving is bad enough, more than 50mins and I'm in great pain.

Ay up Birchy. I collected my Honda Fury in metallic blue today. What a bike. I have never owned a vehicle that has drawn so much attention! While I was at 'Completely Motorbikes' in Hinckley to collect it I got talking to a guy with a Triumph Thunderbird 1700LT. What a machine, and sooo comfortable. I feel one coming on as I just have enough room for one last bike in my garage. Also I have a multi-bike policy and the extra to add a Thunderbird on is a paltry £58...Incredible, and one of the few advantages of getting older...

I got the bobber for the forward lean and central controls. Very sporty, and you can lean a lot more than you think, especially when you hang your body off the side. If you want the bobber, get COC customs seat spring.

Lovely bike, did a test ride. First thing I did after I got rolling was go for mid controls. You make a good point. I’ve never driven more than 20 minutes on one. I’ve always ridden standard bikes.

Hi great bike I bought a 22plate brand new in 22 and that is a bike I most regret trading in and the other bike was a 23 plate 1290 adv s Ktm they are 2 fantastic bikes but the speedmaster is the biggest regret the only gripe I had with it was the bars the angle made me ride with the edge of my like palms on the end of the bars which didn’t feel right or your wrists angled wrong which made them ache I’m looking to buy another one but I might get the bobber bars on it with bar risers that just bring the bars back to you great video take care I ride a 23 plate triumph rocket chrome edition now and that is a keeper absolutely amazing bike I’d only change that one for another new one and it’s the gt model take care ride safe mate

I've ridden the Bobber version - that has a much faster riding position which suited my style of riding better.

Reminds me of my old Harley Paul, the looks and the forward controls. I will get to see and hear it in the morning. One Question, will you have tassels sown on that new jacket ?

@@birchwoodbikernever owned a Harley, I will do a video one year about why. The only cruiser I owned was a Yamaha V-Star 650. First bike I ever owned and put 35k miles on it when I sold it 3 years later when I got my BMW R1150RT. It was then, when I learnt that I did not like my feet out in front of me. So I have never gone back to that style. Plus many are very low to the ground and I am 6 feet tall. The posture is also bad for my back. 😊
