Hi and thank you for your comment 🙂 Its been a while since I filmed the Impact at the shorter distances but since I made this video I have made quite a few videos. And you will see that the accuracy has improve quite alot after installing the heavy liner. Go and check out the videos on my channel - lots of info and accuracy testing. There is some 37 y testing with the recent testing of different slugs in the Panthera and it is about the same groups as you can expect in the M3 (maybe a it better with the Impact 😉)

Well Im pretty sure that you have more experience that me in that setup 😃 I just shot the 600 mm barrel for a short while and I only tried shooting pellets very beiefly 😃 If you experience problems with the pellets it might be bcs the superior liner is not choked and in my mind not very suitable for pellets. Even if it should be... Some might have good experience with pellets, but I would skip the pellets and go to the dark side (shooting slugs😃)

@@TechTrainerAbid To my knowledge the superior liner is not choked. The ST vs STX: ST only has rifling at the last part of the barrel STX has it in the full length of the barrel 🙂 They are both choked. STX is a great barrel for pellets! I never tried the ST.

Thanks Carl 🙂 From my experience with my mk2 wich was performing pretty well, I could imagine that the barrel tuner could help. Maybe not tightning up the groups so much, but I imagine that the consistancy would be better. As you might have seen in the original video, the spread was way to big, but when that has been sorted out and my tune is perfect, I will put on the barrel tuner again 😎 My hunt for an even better group is NOT over 😃

I have only seen them a couple of places in Europe. It seems like there are only a few items of the popular parts when they show up. Barrel tuners, barrels, guns. I would love to know what causes this. Cant be the virus all over 🤔

All over videos of people using fx .177 in 500mm and 600mm show that you're better off not shooting slugs in .177. So that 700mm may be the ticket!

I have made tests on both and you can find the videos on my channel - but my conslusion whould be that the have performed the same for me. There would be some advantages in terms of better BC wich means better trajectory and more hitting power for the NSA, but for accuracy I havent seen them out perform the KO´s. Advantages for the KO´s is that they performs as well as the NSA. They require less reg preasure = more shots. And here in Eurpoe the NSA are much more expensive. For a hunting situation I would choose the NSA but for my daily accuracy shooting at 100m the KO´s are the winner based on the mentioned facts 🙂 But your question would be a great topic for a video 😀

@@doddisusantya8488 When I tested the NSA 15 gr it was in the Mk2 with a stx 500 mm. I believe that the reg was at 140. Front valve at 2,5 and I believe that the hammer was at 19 mm. KnockOuts in the Mk2 I had the reg at 127 and the rest was the same. In the M3 with 700 mm the reg is at 105 macro 2,5 and front valve at around 4 🙂

I have no experience with rats, but the power at impact on 100 m is more than enough to take care of a rat 😃 It is a really nice gun to shoot. Going back to this gun when I have tried something else is always like commin home 🤗

Thanks man 🙂 If I recall corretly - its been a while since I shot the video - I shot them at 972 fps avg, wich means just above 28 ft/lbs. At the moment Im testing the 700 mm liner intensively and at velocities up to 1018 fps. So far with the KnockOuts but later with 15 gr NSA. So stay tuned 😃

Nice group for sure! Quick question? I have the 500mm liner in .177 and haven’t had any luck with both JSB knockouts (10gr and 13gr). The 600mm and 700mm has been on backorder for many months so 500mm is all I have to work with. Do you you have any recommended settings for the Impact M3? I saw you other video where the 500mm didn’t do well either but maybe you found a decent setting like reg pressure and hammer spring? Thanks in advance!

Hi Rob 🙂 If I remember correctly the settings on my Mk 2 with 500 mm superior liner was 115 bar/125 bar with standard STX. Hammer at 19 mm and front valve at 2,5 🙂

i run the 600mm but its gonna be aaaalmost the same for you. since the pellet has less travel time in the barrel with your setup you need less air to push the pellet out. I took my current 8.18gr H&N Exact tune and ever so slightly took off some percentages for you. This should get u in the ballpark. Be careful not to go over 12 footpounds though. :) keep it legal Front reg 125-130, Back reg 80-82, Valve adjuster (if u have six line=4 to 4.5) (if you have 4 line 3.8 to 4.0) Hammer 3 to 3.5. Shotcount pr 50 bar 128. Good luck and happy shooting my fellow enthusiast.

Ahh FINALLY I made my goal 😂😂 Thanks buddy 😃😂 The tuner is yet to make its debut on the M3. I have actually been struggeling to find the right tune and as you can see, the spread is still like a bad joke 🙄 But when I have spread and accuracy in place, the tuner will return - to make me shoot hole in hole on 100 m 😃😂
