I LOVE, LOVE my camo E-cell AWD Crown!!! I would readily buy another again or recommend it to others! The included pannier bags hold massive amount of groceries and they even have hidden rain covers inside small zippered compartment underneath! And did I mention the ultra fast powerful charger that I could charge BOTH batteries at the same time via frame mounted charging port!? Included cooling fins help keep the controller cool too, as it needed to do some heavy-duty controlling. And yes, it's a noisy bike when travelling at speed and yes, it's a real handful to handle and I would hold onto the grips for dear life when speeding, as the bike would run wild if let go! Seriously, I would be afraid to let one hand go to wipe the tears off my eyes from the strong chilly wind and chance losing control of the bike! And as Micah commented, this ebike is like a tank... and as a former army tanker would testify, this is the closest thing to a 2-wheel version of my tank, especially dressed in its wonderful camo pattern! - - - Some folks commented on what they considered short front fender and the ability of the bike to weather heavy rain... as I am living thru the wet, cold winter of Seattle, I could attest to the fact that both fenders worked just fine and I had no problem riding in heavy downpour and into and thru puddles; none of the electronics have failed me yet!

@@joewalker8336 ... Dave Cleveland, the owner, personally answered my calls and his customer Service Rachel was extremely friendly and helpful. - - - The overall bike is warranted for life of the buyer (you) while the motors and batteries of cos would be less... I am not sure but it might be 3 years, you could call and check. - - - Now from personal experience, I stripped the thread on the crank when installing the pedal and they shipped me a new crankset as soon as I called, billing me for only the cost of the replacement set for the few bucks! - - - Then, when I complained of a minor noise of the front hub motor, though not affecting the performance in any way, once again, Rachel immediately send out a replacement motor without charge. It was an easy replacement that took all of an hour or so (because the bike was so heavy and I have little space to work on it) and even included return FedEx shipping label! So, you decide on what you make of their warranty and customer services! I personally couldn't praise them enough; and if they keep this up, with new and better models over the years, I will surely stay a very loyal repeat customer! - - - You'd be getting an improved sensor if you are ordering one now, according to what I heard from another new buyer. @@joewalker8336 ... WA weather SUCK big time! I had so little time riding between here in this lousy winter weather, coming from Monterey, CA originally. I also experienced my first black ice accident last week too! While I could attest to the fact that the Crown could handle mud, sand, rain and even snow very well, it COULD NOT deal with ice! I didn't see the black ice while making a slow corner turn so next thing I knew, I was on the ground sliding with my left leg pinned under the heavy bike. So now, I am still sporting major bruises and swelling from it. - - - This is really a Class 3 bike as I regularly cruise at 30-35mph and on one downhill PA ride, the bike was clocked at 45mph. Built a DIY bike similar to this with Grin Tech parts for hauling 200-300 lbs. as a car replacement (to the KISS people... ain't seen any of you hauling plate steel on your weenie bike up the hill to my house). Been doing that for 3 years with a 250W Bosch drive and I'm ready for more bike. Mine only has 1100 to this one's 1500W, and even at that level, it's honestly kind of scary at full speed under throttle only. I highly recommend different tires though; mine is a weird build after the fashion of 76'ers or 96'ers. Mine is actually two 26" tires, but I achieve the same effect by running a fattie in the front and a plus in the rear. The first tire I tried was a Surly Knard 26x4.8. Great tire, but learned the hard way that knobby 4.8" tires have zero traction on even the slightest wet on pavement. Had a spill in dry weather at a 4-way because e median sprinkler lightly wetted the road. Switching to an Origin8 Supercell 26x4.0 30 TPI tire because it is one of the few fat tires with siping for wet road conditions.

But since you turned it into a competition, the torque, speed and hauling capacity of my 1100W bike crush this off-the-shelf 1500 watter. Hey e bike man, love your expertise on e bikes, you the main guy to learn from. Anyways, I have 2 DIY Duals but more Turbo Booster Drive over the 2nd motor. I put a lot of thought on how a Dual would be practical than Overkill ( why add more weight of the stress frame get to certain areas, uphill performance mode or less of advantage use, ect) I ended up having a Gear ⚙️ base due to the daily commuting within urban terrain( 22 Miles every day) 20mph stop, ease, pass, ect. I go to the straightaway blvds , put my gear motor on CC, flip the cover top switch to turn on the Turbo Booster ( 2000watt gearless DD) I'm going 40 mph on long 7 to 10 miles full throttle of useful make up of lost time if going just using 1 motor . Having both motors of DD would seem to be aware of 2nd motor getting hot to go ahead and turn other one on of a DDs Duals purpose but it seems very practical of using a Gear based drivetrain assisted with DD high speed motor. Have yet come into such scenarios of any issues related to having to cool one down, on , off, or needing to use both motors for hills as I can use either one of using both due to keeping bike weight not too heavy.

The mirrors are a pain to install with neoprene bushings in cooler weather. Oh, make sure that the batteries are not being charged in less than 55° temps. They won’t charge. Also, inform on repairing and maintaining, ease of getting parts, how weight affects pedaling on long trips, etc. When I was young, going out for a ride many times per week was typical for me and I averaged over 20mph pedaling, hills slowed me down quite a bit; fastest I ever got one of my bikes pedaling was about 35mph when I was in top shape.

Where is the accelerator throttle of the front wheel motor??? Is this waterproof??? Dust and rust free???

So will it actually climb a hill? The benefits (traction) of having 2 wheel drive isn't lost because they are hub drive (less torque than mid)? I see they are geared hub which probably helps a little. However im running a 2kw geared 26"x4" 48v 21ah and it won't climb to the point of breaking traction by ANY means No need to break the power up between two tires. Am I missing something?

$4195.00 usd isn’t ridiculous, but what does it cost after taxes/tariffs, shipping and are there other dealership fees? What site should international customers visit to configure and purchase?

@@Systems1 And mine can climb any hill any time at 32 miles an hour. That only happens with front wheel drive. As well as I have a motor in the rear hub. You can’t beat all wheel drive. I’ll leave all E bikes in the dust has a ride by them.

Not mentioned in the video nor on the site's comments... are the tires tubeless? if so (even if not) do those oversize treads help much with shock absorbancy? I'm a big rider. ;-)

I have one on order but I am concerned with Electreks review that said the bike is very loud. From those of you who have one, is it really that loud? Want to use it for sneaking around woods for photos.

Particularly the front. And with such fat tyres and speed capabilities, they're going to kick up a huge spray on your feet in the rain, so it may be advisable to wear wellingtons.
