Your videos are awesome. The tip about keeping the air on has been particularly helpful. FWIW, I put a legal pad upright next to my project. I test spray to check flow and pattern, then cut the paint but keep the air on, then move to my project (fishing lures). This has about eliminated tip drying and totally eliminated spitting and blotches. You have no blaring “music”, no rattling on or nonsense,just solid info. Short and to the point. Thanks for the extremely well done videos.

I forgot to tell you in our town we have the Andy Warhol museum in Pittsburgh and 2 of my paintings were on display in airbrush ! Andy was a huge DOORS fan so I did 2 paintings of Jim Morrison one done in trippy UV GLOW airbrush and snake scales called THE LIZARD KING ! And another I did his face in the clouds of a thunderstorm and called it RIDER OF THE STORM! And I did a podium speech and gave you credit as my teacher and your company AIRBRUSH ASYLUM is listed on the register as my schooling so thank you my friend for teaching me ! And every painting I do I will make sure you are given the credit cause without you I could never do this beautiful art of airbrush! Thank you again Marc ( EL PADRE PAINTINGS )

Hi Marc, again thanks for your comment and WOW that’s fantastic about your two paintings , I would love to see some images of your work 🤩 I do appreciate you thanking me and mentioning Airbrush Asylum but remember I just give you a little insight, it’s your hard work and talent that creates your art…so well done and keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻

@@AirbrushAsylum my friend you gave me the drive and help with the problems they don’t tell you about when starting airbrush ! And I have a channel EL PADRE PAINTINGS ! And some of the airbrush I do is on there and some of the paintings I will take videos of my paintings of Jim Morrison and Pink Floyd at the art gallery ! I did a painting called RIDER OF THE STORM AND A HIGHLY REACTIVE UV PAINTING CALLED THE LIZARD KING! And did dark side of the moon! And when you see my work you will see your influence and technique thank you my friend and trust me you helped me more than I could ever thank you ! 👍🏻🥹

Hi there , another great video as I'm just starting out , a quick question? how far do you have to thin out the nail polishes to paint succsefuly, and can you spray the glitter ones? sorry that was two questions.

Excellent video! I never understood the tip drying until now. Just don’t add too much reducer or it becomes watercoloring😅 -🐌
@AirbrushAsylum Жыл бұрын
Thank you and yes, the more reducer you add the less tip drying you will get however the more difficult it is to control your paint 😉 love the water colour reference 🤣

ANOTHER AWSOME video I wish I had you as a teacher in the beginning of my airbrush adventure! especially the advice you said about mixing ratios like 70-30 for detail and the air pressure !also I’ve been your student for a little while and I just realized I’ve been running a 1-1 ration at 18 - 20 psi ! And not 30-40 and I wondered why I had horrible tip dry and inconsistent lines so another problem you solved for me my friend THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AGAIN! FOR YOUR WISDOM ! I HOPE TO SEE MEDUSSA SOON LOL no seriously thank you for all you do for us and can’t wait till your next video!!👍🏻👍🏻 Forever your student Marc ( a.k.a. EL PADRE PAINTS )

1 to 1 ratio or the thickness of milk. Don't bother with the kind of milk, 3.25%,2% it's nitpicking.Also you don't really need an airbrush with the smallest needle/nozzle combination when you start airbrushing,a 0.5mm needle/nozzle will be fine and you can do a lot of artwork.
@AirbrushAsylum Жыл бұрын
100% well said and I agree with what you said about nozzle sizes as well, I can still pull out super fine detail with a 0.35mm needle / nozzle setup. 🤘🏻🤩

I just learned that thinning a gloss acrylic with alcohol makes the paint more like curdled milk, the paint turns gummy and the brush spattered rather than flowing. Or is it just me?

Whats the smallest spray we can get from airbrushing, i need micro, but they run into £500, anything you can recommend cheaper?, i not spending 500£ and not know more about what might be cheaper and better,,,
@HellRainGod5 ай бұрын
might make for interesting video, airbrush sizes?, i personally have 0.2, but know its just not little enough for me to try detail projects
