Foreal I was gonna say I wonder if Dave will watch this or if the players watch this at all . I think Dave’s downfall was being so angry about the hung bishop . It made him play out of emotion . Great game though .

Brian. I like your philosophy. I must agree. When Dave saw the attack it was the fear surrounding him. Its block all his senses and obvious his thinking. And in today's world situation you can see it at every corner. Fear is what lead people to think undepended unconscious and they are lost at the sea of fear give up and surrender.

My guess about the evolutionary mechanism would be: winning is good, and with that comes the rush of dopamine which lets your body and mind know that the task is achieved. While it may be good for survival, it’s not good in a sense where something like “winning a won game” comes into play. Just look at the phrase, winning a won game. The brain already thinks it has won, so what more is left? The best players don’t see a won game, just moves until it’s over.

When you flat-ass blunder a piece, you must smile. Be smug. Because it's all you have at that moment, and your opponent will think they've fallen into a deep combo. They will waste time looking for it. Unless... you're playing a master. Then you're screwed. Cheers. Thanks, guys!

Dave gets too emotional. I love watching Big Tex (I know he has passed, RIP Big Tex) but what I loved particularly about Big Tex is that he played real relaxed. Dave, gets too hot headed, emotional and then cannot see the moves. That's the big difference! I love ALL you guys, you are the best and I particularly love New Yorkers, I'm from London and NY is the best city with the best people in the world! You asked why human behavior is what it is. Simple, because in a real war, victory is typically achieved through shock and awe via overwhelming speed and force. There is no time for in-game or even post-game analysis. One moment you're fast asleep, the next moment the sky is lit up, half your platoon is already dead, and you're staring down the barrel of gun. You have one choice in that moment, either surrender or lights out, and if you even hesitate for a split second....
