Me and my husband both work in the same burning hot factory. 12 hours shifts 5 days a week. He is truly my equal. We both do yard work, we both tend to our kids, I cook, he does dishes, I wash the laundry he folds and puts it away. I absolutely love our life.❤

To the first write in: take the job. I turned down an incredible work opportunity making $2000 a week on the other side of the county (all expenses paid), for my “highschool sweetheart” whom I had rekindled with, because he didn’t want me to go. Just like you guys said, not 6 months later I found out there had been another girl for months. I now no longer even work within the trade due to local shortages. Biggest regret of my career. Do YOU girl.

You two are really setting a president for my relationship and how I want to go forward, I'm watching all the way from the UK, in Sheffield. I've had some pretty toxic relationships and you've helped me to realize MY part in them and how I can better myself. Really thankful for this podcast and all the work you've done as a family, I wish I was in a better financial situation to subscribe to your Patreon. ❤

"That's why we work as hard as we now so we don't have to do this shit later" this speaks to me. I try and live by telling myself that laziness today is work tomorrow. Busting your ass in the moment sucks hard at times, but when you have that free time later to say, oh fuck what do I need to worry about today... nothing, i'm good, I did this already! That feeling is an release!

The issue at hand is that when you are taking calls for customer service from home everything is logged and you have to be in the system actively taking calls been there done that. All of my shit had to get done on breaks/lunches and no downtime but when you are a team busting it out together provides down time at the end of the day if you are consistent.

hi, guys! my partner and i have become avid listeners of the podcast and we love your all’s feedback and thoughts 🤍 currently watching today’s pod and i know you guys had said you’re struggling with burn out from reading emails and had mentioned wanting to thank viewers/patreon+youtube subscribed members. maybe throughout the pod, you could take a little intermission and thanks a handful of people each week! in terms of reading emails - if you guys need a moderator i would be absolutely honored and would love to help weed through heavy emails. maybe each week you can do a specific category that relates to accountability and personal growth, have people include the title/theme in the subject line. much love to you guys and can’t wait to see what you put out next 🤍🫶🏻

Listening to Chris talk about bpd makes me wonder if I have bpd sometimes. I have the up and down moods, the fear of being left even though my husband has never done anything to show he would, and the chameleon thing you've just discussed. I know that could be anything but it's opening my eyes that maybe I'm not just dealing with the normal anxiety and depression I've been diagnosed with. How do you even get a more in depth look into it? Like can you ask for a evaluation etc?

@@2BeBetterAJ a NAS setup with external (internet) access is a decent approach. I'd also question why each recording is 200gb of files. I'm sure there's some encoding that can keep the file size down and maintain the necessary quality. Sounds like he's immediately reencoding the video anyway. Why not look at doing it on the fly with the original recording?

hello! Regarding not having attraction to someone without physical attraction, I would love to discuss Demisexuality. As a demisexual I can agree that I can see someone is attractive on an abstract level (Such as yeah their face is very pretty, thats nice), but I wouldn't be sexually attracted to them immediately. Demi Sexuality is defined as "the quality or characteristic of being sexually attracted only to people with whom one has a close emotional relationship, and not on the basis of first impressions, physical characteristics, etc." Anyways, love the content as always, great perspectives and tools described to handle hard situations. Hope your having a great day!

Just wanted to comment on this! The "I'm just a perv" email, where you are talking on how everyone has attraction, that actually isn't true! It's called Demisexuality, I'm a demisexual person who only finds someone sexually appealing after I've found that we are compatible on other fronts. "You can't have physical attraction to somebody before you have emotional attraction, that's not how that works," no it actually is how that works! Some people really truly are like this

I think in the email when she said that it’s “unfair” is because that she can’t prove that “her boyfriend probably wants to f*** every hot female he sees”. My second thought was that the unfairness could also be because he doesn’t need the emotional connection to find someone attractive which makes it easier for him to become easily attracted to more females other than herself. (assuming that he isn’t emotionally connected to other women)
