Hey sis, I just want to share something with you. I do not go to this church, I don't even know where it is and who this is preaching. I also, am in belief that we aren't required to tithe base on the law but we are encouraged to give to one another and to take care of the people who bring the word (which includes the preacher's and people who help them). I say all that to say, I don't think you comment came out of love. I'm not saying that the comment itself wasn't loving but your heart behind the comment. I listened to this whole sermon with no bias and what he did 90% of the time was just exogete on what the Bible was saying. He added 2-4 stories and some was about tithing but there was one about his church coming together to give to other people. So because I listen to the full thing and then see your comment about hik preaching for an hour about his sermon, I know your words wasn't done in love. Please love your brothers and sister by listening fully but also not assuming bad, love assumes the best (1 Cor 13:7). Love you and this correction is because I love you and want you to treat all our brothers and sister with love.

Gods work gets done by people giving to the church, it is not Pastor Skip job to pay for everything it’s our obedience to Christ that gives us the opportunity to give to God

Nice try Timothy. You should be careful in listening what was taught in the message. (Context) Pastor Skip stays true to the Word of God. He is exegetical in the passage of the Scripture that's discussed in the verses.

Oh Timothy ye of little faith we all give our $ somewhere in life cell phones, cable, internet you get my point. Most Churches that stick to the Gospel message and teach expository do well with how they spend tithes. Electric ain’t free, feeding the hungry ain’t free, helping widows ain’t free but you know What is free? yet cost you nothing? Albeit cost Christ everything SALVATION; chew on that a while, I wish you well BYE!!!
