Thanks again for an interesting back country video. I love winter ski camping here in Nevada, USA. Methinks I would have walked over those "snowy stones" - even with my old rock skis.

This time no gnocchi with meat sauce and parmesan.. I'm a little disappointed 😆.. It's also my favorite mountain food 👌😁 Of course still a nice tour and video. Srečno novo leto! 🎉

Maybe try carrying some crocs with you. Light as a feather and you can wear them at your camp site with wool socks instead of heavy ski boots. Love your content!!!!

You're the best. Why do u use the ortvox if you are skiing alone? can it really help you? i don't understand. Thankss!!!
@Jonne337
@Jonne337 11 ай бұрын
if u get under an avalanche it's still easier to find your body. I don't think it will increase your chances of surviving.
@andrazegart
@andrazegart 11 ай бұрын
A couple of reasons actually… Usually (not in this case) there’s probably gonna be a few other skiers skiing the same mountain/couloir/…, so even if you are technically alone, you can still help each other out if you see someone get buried… In this case I was all alone on the mountain, so that was not the reason. The other reason is the one @Jonne337 already described… And the third reason is to just raise more awareness on the avalanche dangers.

Also is it warmed or colder in a hammock in the winter? VS sleeping on the ground in a tent
@andrazegart
@andrazegart 11 ай бұрын
As long as you’re using an inflatable sleeping pad it’s warmer in a tent, because it blocks out all the wind :)

Isn’t walking on rocky parts like that super bad for your skiis?
@andrazegart
@andrazegart 11 ай бұрын
Yup. But they are my old pair of skis which are already beaten up pretty badly, so no worries :) And I can also fix them up in my garage pretty easily :)
