Yeah the shortest time span any coral spends in the farm is 6 months. Probably explain why I've never had any pests in my tank - touching wood now though! 🤣 Seriously hard graft, new found respect for anyone working in the industry. Thank you for commenting It really helps the channel.

What other things do they do to get the coral colours like that? I emailed them with no reply. I'm guessing there's more to just water changes and dosing aminos. It'll be a certain spectrum they are pushing or dosing Trace to help boost colours.

@@chrispond84ify would love to see how you have set up Your sump and how you are doseing kalk and how you are removing detritus. And are you doseing kalk 24/7 or during light out . 😄

@@1969fishtank I keep it simple, big skimmer, lots of live rock, I use filter floss for detritus removal and use Kalk with a stirrer with constant feed. hope that helps.

I was surprised how simple it was. More tech on 4ft tanks now a days. All about regular water changes I think. 🙂
