Hey man my star fish is missing a leg do you know what this means ? He seems fine....

I was told there can be lots of possibilities. Basically your starfish is going into survival mode. Do you have any predatory shrimps? It could be your water parameters, apparently high nutrients in the form of nitrates can cause this. If it's a new tank check for ammonia as well. Is there enough food in the tank for the little guy? If not but some seaweed sticks or nori. Amazingly he can regrow his leg, if you manage to find out what its causing it's stress. Hope that helps mate 🙂🙏.

I slowly ramped up the Radion to 55% intensity. This was where I found I was getting the best colours out of the majority of the corals. Take Care 🙂

No regrets at all with adding the Reefbrites. I wouldn't be without lighting bars now. They add so much colour to the corals and a broad spectrum of light across the entire tank. I'm planning an update video very soon. Thank you for watching and commenting mate 🙂.

I absolutely love my AIO Red Sea, it was the perfect beginner tank for me. You've got a keen eye, your right the black paint on the concealer panel has come off. I need to get some black vinyl and cover it over again 🙂.

I have the XHO kit installed on my AI Hydra 32 over my 35 gallon Cube tank. I wanted more programming other than a simple on / off. I wasn't going to spend the money for what reef brite wants for there wireless controller. I purchased a Nicrew programmable LED light controller from Amazon for $15.00 U.S. funds. It allows you to set a program schedule. I programmed mine to ramp up in the morning and will ramp down in the evening. The only time I have to do anything with the controller is if I lose power to my home for some reason. I just have to reset up the schedule. It has been a great addition to my reef brites and could not be happier with the set up.

It’s 4 drops per gallon. Not 1. You had to adjust the dosage because of the water displacement caused from the rock/sand/equipment instead of how many gallons your tank is. That’s 100% why you overdosed on ammonia! Anyhow, happy reefing! Just thought I’d share my opinion!!

I use a google indoor nest camera. It also has infra red so you can see the tank at night. I wouldn't be without mine, especially when I'm away on a holiday. Hope that helps mate 🙂

Great informative video and great tank setup.My ocd is kicking in but why do you not clean the back wall? And the fold down cover looks like it has discoloured in the middle what causes this?

Thank you for watching. I'm also a bit OCD. I would prefer a clean back wall, but the film algae and coraline are an important food source for my urchin and starfish. In this little tank they would starve otherwise. I was advised to keep one panel dirty so I chose the back panel. It also looks natural...like a harbour wall 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting. Goodness...it was a while since I made the DD lid. Absolutely love my DD lid, it was a little tricky to build, but a very sleek design and doesn't retract from the beauty of your tank and corals. I think it will be my go to for lids for any future tanks. Thank you for the comment mate 🙌🙂. See you next Sunday 👍

@Fishpalace. This is a great idea by Gazza - you should publish these on your channel if the event was to run again. Setup a camera on a tripod and use a remote mic like the DJI. 🙂 Great content for your channel too. 🙌
