My axis tilt, rev rate, and speed are pretty similar to yours. What layout would you suggest for a hybrid or Pearl symmetric?

4 x 2 PAL is my base for almost everything symm. 4.5 x 2 PAL would make it a bit smoother as another option as well. That's 4" pin, 2 inches above pin to rf line.

On a short pin layout on asyms as a one hander where the mass bias is placed make a difference in midlane? Like I wanna try short pin but have a higher rev rate so In my logic swinging the mass bias to the left would give me length?

For thumbers, do 90x1.25x45 for this layout, or 90x2.25x45 for the more versatile (slightly stronger) short pin layout.

Hey Mikey does the negative tilt matter in how you drill the layout? We are having trouble with getting balls make the corner. The balls are all rolling forward

The question is how much negative tilt? If it’s like negative 3, than I would add forward to the middle to try and increase the negative tilt near 7. Low tilt creates shape problems and often negative tilt does the same. Increasing the tilt value (whether positive or negative will help). I also suggest using mostly assyms with either the angular PAL Layout or the Short Pin PAL Layout. A quantum evo pearl is perfect for this as well.

When I went 2 hands all my stuff rolled forward too at first. That’s one of the reasons we kept pushing for better layouts. Lower diff asymms like Obsession Tour Pearl could be reallllly good too

If things are all rolling forward, I would try the angular layout and short pin on the next few. There are many balls that just roll forward without a thumb hole. I have this issue with the 3D Offset and the Informer.

Nice ! could you also mention dual angles numbers as well? Most people understand those better.

so the angles are different depending on your PAP location. the reason we had to create a new system is partly for that reason. for no thumbers, it is going to be better and more clear to use the PAL to discuss layout shapes. the "new layouts for levi" video has a breakdown of the steps to draw it on the ball. i hope this helps!
