Hey house lover's and explorers! Today's video we take a look through 2 homes with the first being a late 50s home very typical of that era with the use of cream/yellow colored bricks which went well into the 1970s. This home is up for redevelopment and has been left in immaculate condition showing a huge extended living area at the back with 2 sheds and huge yard. The second home is built in the 1920s and is typical interwar style home with traditional floor plan of old bungalows and villas although this has no gables as the veranda area has been closed in. This one has been vacant. for years and is now also just been put in line for the bulldozer. Hope you enjoy the explore, Cheers for watching 🙂👍

I love that Greek vase, Paul. Great find and so sad these places are going for the rows of boxes they call modern houses. Great explore my friend

The first property was just beautiful and outside grill, olive tree and pomegranate tree...what a shame it is going to be demolished! Such a waste. The 20s home still looked pretty sturdy. I loved those bedroom cabinets. Thanks for another awesome video!

Hey Paul. Thanks for another look at our architectural past. First house Post WW2. Sturdy house. Not much character. But a great assortment of fruit trees in the huge backyard. Meditteranian family I'm guessing. Second house was a nice cottage. Has a bit of charm. Great exploring with you. 👍🇦🇺🍺

That cowrie shell light cover must have been a source of pride. They always remind me of living in the Marianas. So many preserved details in the first home. What a little gem, though pink, blue and black bathrooms always seem a questionable choice. In the second house I like the choice of a picket topped toilet door for air circulation and to reduce anxiety driven claustrophobia. What a practical idea to install sliding doors in a home with narrow hallway and small rooms. This one is charming! Thanks for these lovely characterful explores!

Of course everyone and myself likes the first house explored, I hate "carpet tiles" though. I've never seen them in a residence before, they look "commercial". I belive those light shades were home crafted. 24:13 I cannot imagine what this area is for except a makeshift sleeping area for a miserably hot summer night. Thanks for the tours Paul! 👍🤠 🇺🇸

Too awesome explores mate the first home alot of work would of been done to those sea shell lamps loved them, the vase was cool the Greek temple Acropolis. Im wondering if there might of been a pool there from the pump in the shed probably all filled in where all those fruit trees were. The second one ok got a bit sketchy when that bike was there no squatter geez. Hey mate loved the ceiling rose and that retro bath cool, cheers again mate.

Hi Paul, thanks for another great explore. Both homes are great. I love how they used to have the built ins in the bedrooms with the drawers etc. (second house) and I think they had an above ground pool in the backyard of the first house alongside the shed. Go back and have a look, it looks to be a indent of where it was situated. It brought back memories of when my aunt had an older weatherboard house with an above ground pool in her backyard back in the early 1970s. Take care

Gee, how's the size of the land on these blocks....No wonder the developers are rubbing their hands together, kinda sad, but it's the reality of property developers these days. They had some nice features. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, MM :)

I have been renting a joint unit for 19 years LOL i know, i know way to long in one place. But i have all ways tried and move into a house wether it's a 2 or 3 bedroom. Livin on ya own is really hard to move into a house 100% joint units are really crap i wished we never been flooded by joint unites.

Thinking about some of your other videos of abandoned homes turned into grow houses, I was wondering if Australia has had problems with illegal immigration of criminals involved in drug trafficking, as has happened in the U. S.

Aliens can't just walk over a so called border to get here. Lots of drug trafficking in container ships. On the news tonight they were on about the housing crisis & a shortage of tradies/builders so we need 80 thousand (I think that was the crazy number)immigrants to build things haha but where will we house them? There is a huge crime wave of "youths" stealing cars & breaking into houses lately though.

Ugh what I would give to have a backyard like those. It breaks my heart to see beautiful established gardens and trees ripped out for development. No wonder summers are getting hotter, their is too much urban development and not enough green spaces. I had to giggle at the "oooh look at the art deco bathroo.....well except for THAT!" comment. My sentiments exactly.
