I live up where the caddo river starts and I have Polk Creek on the other side lot going small mouth, spotted bass,rock, large mouth, and many sunfish species.

Im not sure if I ever said this before, but I just saw Cole try to grab his line with the pole bent under that weight of a fish. Never grab your line with a poorly hooked fish, because if the fish comes off, with the pole bent, the hooks will be in your hand

Those are the general size smallies I've been catching from the river. 🙄 where are the big smallies I've been looking. I'm going to try another spot later in the week. Hopefully, get better fish. I should get better fish. I've been noticing bait fish opposite side of the river. I'll go to the opposite side to see. I know bait fish are there because I see seagulls the opposite side of the river. I already know where I'll go on the opposite side. I would go in area I used to go but there's homeless people there. I want to avoid that.
