In this video, I make the thickest tonkatsu I've ever eaten. It's 2-inches fat, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Tonkatsu is a Japanese pork cutlet, a classic fried Japanese food.
This recipe covers how to slow cook the pork for over 7 hours, and breading and frying. Includes the sides of rice, cabbage and Japanese pickles (shibazuke), and sauce and lemon for dressing.
