I am so invested! Just discovered your channel last night with parts 1 & 2, and now I’m so eager for part 4! You are a wonderful storyteller! This situation is so crazy and I’m so sorry that your family had to go through all of this! I can’t even imagine how traumatic it was. I pray that you are all able to heal from everything you’ve endured. May God bless your family! ❤️

I just wish it was a good and happy ‘story’ and not this horrible thing 😢 Hope to see more parts soon. Don’t worry about the length, you really have a great voice to listen to and I do not find anything confusing. It is very clear. And again, I’m so sorry this happened to you guys!!! Big higg❤

I can’t believe this happened. It’s even sadder to think about people that have no friends or family to help them through corrupt lawyers or corrupt family of the deceased like you guys did. Also it makes me grateful to live in the US, where we have the law get involved in every step of the way to determine who’s at fault. I knew the family was going to ask for the highest number possible when they see a wife who really wants her husband out of jail. If this had been a Nicaraguan man that was jailed, they probably would have taken the first offer.

I too suffer from UC and I was so happy to hear that you were doing so well, but it's no wonder you started to flare. I'm so sorry Allison. I'm sorry that poverty, greed, whatever you want to call drive people to be so corrupt. My father in law use to be a snowbird in Mexico and he got shaken down a couple of times, and really scary people started taking over the businesses on their once peaceful street and they sold their place and have never gone back. :(

This is why you never drive in latin america. No matter how comfortable you feel there, remember you are always viewed as a walking ATM by the people. Anyone with means in central america has a driver. The reason is not just convenience. If you can't afford to live like the elite, you better appear as poor as a hippie and just use public transportation. Pretty much anyone in any latin american country will try to scam you. I have been scammed more in the U.S., though, too be honest. (Not even including by my ex-wife, haha) I was scammed by a doctor in El Salvador. They were giving me antibiotics for a simple fungal condition. It made the condition worse, causing me to need more "treatments". I figured it out and made the doctor reimburse me. The lesson is that anyone can scam you. The U.S. government does it to us all the time, haha.
