Been watching all the vids man...I just found lethwei 2 days ago...I was a huge muay thai fan now I love lethwei and think it will be bigger than it is thanks to you

I use leather gardening gloves to minimize skin tears. It's completely night and day when compared to boxing gloves. Feels more natural and definitely teaches you proper alignment. Awesome video, sir.

This guy is fucking awesome lol that first combo really helped me clean up my left hook. Unfortunately nobody where I'm at has ever heard of Lethwei and when I try to explain they tend to raise an eyebrow when I mention elbows, Let alone headbutts. But anyway big fan. Good shit

Can you explain proper technique throwing elbows? I always feel it in my shoulders when I train with elbows and it doesnt feel powerful like when I'm throwing fists. Also, Ive tried hitting bag bare knuckle and wrists were not the problem...it was the skin being cut on my knuckles.. took forever to heal so I stopped doing that.

i lined the filling of my heavy bag with books and magazines so i have to digg my knuckles into it very precisely and controled like u wanna punch thru a ribcage..then i have a small head-resembling bag made from a steal chain with lots of knots in it.. never trained with gloves - actually i feel like gloves increase the risk of spraining my wrist. havent done it in a while but i think i can bust open a coconut with my knuckles..
@Ac3p3rgAA Жыл бұрын

hey so I’ve noticed that during David’s demonstration going full speed, he kind of flairs his elbows out on the one two; is that a modification to fit the no gloves style?

Hey sir, what’s your opinion on throwing elbows with open hands? Do you think it has less power when compared to the one with close hands? Loved the vid, btw!! Keep it up 🙏🏽
@LeducLethwei3 жыл бұрын
It's the exact same thing, Dave does it with closed hands and has possibly the strongest elbow strikes of all time, said by Bas Rutten holding pads for him. Thank you for your question 💪

@LeducLethwei2 жыл бұрын
Thai government are just soft and can't handle the truth. When you start banning people for questioning the validity of folklore stories you know there is something wrong and insecure about them. "Don't mess with Thai People?" Everything Thai people come to Myanmar they lose to the more brutal Myanmar fighters, because they can't handle the headbutts.
